Write letter of alphabet onto sticker.
Label round tokens from a board game with stickers.
Cover letters of the Cut and Say with the matched tokens.
Say sounds and blend. Flip token to hide a letter (deletion) and say sounds.

Select a picture card.
Say beginning sound of the picture card to identify the sound.
Use the alphabet page to practice writing the letter(s) of the beginning sound.
Repeat.

Select a set of Word Family words.
Write onsets (beginning of words) on several cups.
Write a rime (ending part of a word) on one cup.
Stack cups and sound out words.

Label three brown paper cups: 1, 2 and 3.
Select a Picture Card card.
Say sounds of the letters in the word. Use tokens to tap out the sounds.
Place the picture card in the cup with the same number of sounds.

Label one cup with a word family rime (ending letters of a word).
Label a second cup with onsets (beginning letters of a word).
Twist cup to match up onset and rime to make a word
Sound out the word. Repeat.

Label stickers with onset (beginning) sounds. Place stickers on the end of a cup.
Place a craft stick on top of cups (one onset and one rime) to link them together.
Blend the sounds to say the word. Repeat.
Repeat.

Place a letter tiles along the alphabet of the rainbow.
Place a picture card in the first cloud of the rainbow's cloud.
Say name of the picture. Sound out beginning sound.
Place the letter(s) of the beginning sound down to the second cloud.

Color each letter.
Place token over '4 in a Row' and shake token with an upside down cup.
Say the sound of the letter the token landed on in the '4 in a Row.'
Say the name of a picture with the same beginning sound. Color in the picture.

Scramble the upper and lowercase letters of letter tiles.
Use the Vowels and Theirs Teams to sort vowels.
Say the name of the letters and the sounds they make.
Match upper and lowercase letters.

Label edge of one plate with the lowercase letters of the alphabet.
Label edge of a second plate with the uppercase letters of the alphabet.
Clip the edges of the 2nd plate. Attach the plates with a brad.
Twist plates to match upper and lower case letters.

Place play clay on a table.
Select a Cut & Say Card
Say sounds of the letters in the word.

Place 4 rows of tape across a baking sheet.
Write word family rimes (ending) onto tape.
Add a magnet letter to form a word.
Repeat.

Label one dice with beginning letters: B, D, T, R, P, C.
Label one dice with ending letters: A, E, I, O, U, Y.
Label one dice with ending letters: G, D, N, P, T, M.
Roll each dice. Map the word on a Sound Box Mat.

Place a token on the spinner.
Place an upside down cup over the token and spin the cup.
Create a word matching an onset and rime.
Repeat

Label bubble popper with the letters in the alphabet.
Select a Cut and Say card.
Tap out the sounds of the word with the letters on the bubble popper.
Repeat.

Place tape on edges of plastic eggs.
Write onset letters on on side of edge.
Write rime letters on other side.
Twist egg to form a word. Sound out word.

Add tape to a baking sheet to create 6 squares.
Select Cut and Say cards.
Scramble magnet letter tiles for each Cut and Say word.
Unscramble to make words.

Write alphabet on paper.
Slide three beads (green, yellow and red) onto pipe cleaner.
Tape pipe cleaner onto paper above alphabet.
Slide beads to a beginning, middle and end set of letters. Say word.

Place 10 Cut and Say cards in a row.
Roll dice and move token.
Say beginning sound of the word.
Remove Cut and Say card. Repeat.

Roll Dice
Say the set of letters matching the number on the dice.
Cover the letters with a token.
Repeat.

Attach 2 folders to make three panels
Attach consonant sounds wall to folder.
Cut Letter Tiles and attach to folder with velcro
Match letter tile to consonant on sound wall
1. EKLK Cut & Say Cards 2. Tokens 3. Folder 4. Paper Clips
Attach two folders together
Select 16 cut and say words
Ask questions to guess the other player's selected Cut and Say cards.
Cover guesses with tokens as words are eliminated.

Write onset (beginning letter(s)) onto stickers.
Write rime (ending letter(s)) onto stickers.
Attach stickers to tokens.
Drop tokens into the slots and say the words
1. EKLK p. 236 2. scissors 3. tape 4. paper 5 paint sticks
Write onset or rime on paint swatch.
Wrap the swatch in a folded piece of paper.
Cut out a small square in the paper.
Slide the swatch up and down to reveal the onset and rime match.

Cut out digraph wheels
Attach the wheels with a brad
Match the onset and rime.
Sound out the word. Repeat.
1. EKLK pg, 291 2. Scissors 3. Glue 4. Paper
Cut images of the words
Glue the bathtub picture card onto paper.
Glue a 'th' word above the bathtub.
Repeat.
